Unity Presbyterian Church is a congregation of the Presbyterian Church (USA) in the Scioto Valley Presbytery. We are a diverse, inclusive community of faith where you are welcome and loved exactly as you are with your faith and doubt, your questions and convictions, as a beloved child of God created in the holy image.
Our Story
Unity Presbyterian Church was created in 2019, when the former Parkview, Brookwood, Shady Lane, and Fairmoor congregations on the east side of Columbus, OH, responded to God's call to merge and create a new thing. These congregations brought the best of their long histories and vibrant traditions together to create a community that honors and celebrates the past while leaning faithfully into the future.

After the death of transitional pastor Rev. Steve Garstead, the congregation of Unity called Rev. Andrew Smith as their first full-time installed pastor in August of 2022. Today, Unity is growing in ways that reflect its changing community with many young families and new members from western Africa and southeast Asia.
